Governing law
The agreements are governed by the laws of Nigeria, where Researchor's operating company, Lumio Africa, is established. If you use Researchor as a consumer, you keep any protection your own country's law gives you that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Data protection
Your privacy rights apply wherever you live. Where a local law adds something, such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK, state privacy laws in the US, or the Nigeria Data Protection Act, the Privacy Policy explains what it adds and which authority you can complain to.
Currency
Every price, fee and balance is in US dollars, for clients and experts in every country.
Certifications
Researchor holds none: no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no third-party penetration test, no academic-integrity accreditation. There is no such thing as an "academic integrity certification" for a marketplace, and any platform displaying one is describing something that does not exist.
