Verification is what makes an expert profile worth trusting. It checks that what you claim is evidenced.
What we ask for
Depends on what your profile claims:
- Qualification: a degree certificate, transcript, or an institutional page listing you.
- Affiliation: an institutional email address or staff listing.
- Publications: DOIs or links. We check they exist and that you are on them.
- Professional registration, where your field has one.
Upload these under Settings → Profile → Supporting Document (PDF or DOC, up to 5MB).
What it is not
Verification confirms a credential. It is not an endorsement of your competence on any given project and does not make Researchor responsible for your work. Clients still read your profile, proposal and reviews.
Misrepresentation
Claiming a qualification, affiliation or method you cannot evidence is a breach of the Academic Integrity Policy and grounds for permanent closure. If you are unsure whether a claim is defensible, state it more narrowly.
