Clients fund milestones by card or bank payment through our payment providers. Experts are paid out to a bank account or PayPal.

Clients add and manage payment methods under Payment. Experts add payout accounts under Bank Details.
What we store
Researchor does not store your full card number. Card details are held by the payment provider, and we keep only a reference plus the last four digits so you can tell your saved cards apart.
Which provider
Payments are processed by third-party providers appropriate to your region. The provider handling a given transaction is shown at the point of payment.
Currency
Your preferred display currency is set at registration and changeable in Settings. Where a client and an expert transact in different currencies, conversion applies and the rate is shown before the payment is confirmed.
