Money moves one milestone at a time.
The cycle
- Client funds the milestone → money is held in escrow.
- Expert works and submits.
- Client reviews; may request revisions within the agreed allowance.
- Client approves → the fee, less the service fee, releases to the expert's balance.
The review window
Each milestone carries a review window, shown on it and in the delivery notification. If the client neither approves nor raises a revision or dispute within that window, the milestone may auto-release to the expert.
This exists so an expert is not left unpaid indefinitely for delivered work. A client who needs longer should say so in the project chat before the window closes.
What is not paid
Unfunded future milestones. Work done outside the accepted scope without a new milestone. Work delivered off-platform.
