A dispute is for when a delivery does not match the accepted proposal and a revision has not fixed it.
The path
- Chat. Most disputes are scope misunderstandings and resolve in a day.
- Revision. If the work is within scope but incomplete, this is faster.
- Dispute. Escrow freezes; nothing moves either way.
- Review. We read the proposal, the milestone scope, the deliverables, the screening result and the messages. Both sides respond.
- Decision. Full release, full return, a partial split, or a further revision round.
What decides it
What the accepted proposal required, against what was delivered. Not whether the research reached a good result, whether a supervisor liked it, or whether a journal accepted it. None of those are within an expert's control.
This is why a specific proposal protects both sides.
Timing
Acknowledged within 2 business days. Decided within 10 business days of receiving what we need. Complex disputes take longer and we will say so.
Finality
Our decision determines the escrowed funds. It does not extinguish any legal right either party holds.
