Email verification
Every account verifies its email address at registration with a six-digit code. This is required. An unverified account cannot transact.
Expert credential review
Experts are asked to provide evidence of the qualifications they claim: a CV, a degree certificate, an institutional email address, or links to published work. What we ask for depends on what the profile claims.
Credential review checks that the stated qualification is evidenced. It is not an endorsement of the expert's competence on any particular project, and it does not make Researchor responsible for the quality of their work. Read the profile, the proposal and the reviews as well.
Identity verification
Identity verification may be required before a payout above a threshold, to meet financial regulation. We will tell you what is needed before it blocks anything.
What a badge means
A verification badge means a specific check was completed. It does not mean an expert is suitable for your project, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome. Misrepresenting qualifications is a breach of the Academic Integrity Policy and grounds for permanent account closure.
